The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians continues the ceremonial harvest of the chaparral yucca plant, a tradition passed down through generations. The yucca is used as a food source, and also to make rope, twine and soap. Tribal cultural bearers and leaders spoke with RinaNakanoTV from KCAL News about it.
