The San Manuel Tribal Unity and Cultural Awareness Program invited KCBS-TV of Los Angeles to the traditional acorn harvest held in late fall above the San Manuel Indian Reservation. For countless generations, the Serrano people throughout Southern California have harvested acorns as a major food source.
